Job Description:

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure accuracy in accounting, compliance, and reporting. This role is responsible for managing financial statements, budgeting, internal controls, and strategic financial planning. This is a direct hire opportunity with an automotive education and entertainment company located in Holbrook NY.

Pay: $125K

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
Implement and maintain cost accounting systems to analyze profitability and operational efficiency.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
Support executive leadership with financial insights, strategic planning and decision making.
Manage audits and liaise with external auditors.


Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years' experience in a Controller or Senior Accounting role with Cost Accounting expertise.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
MS Excel and QuickBooks experience a must.
