Qualifications

Fluency in Spanish
Experience with the Workers Compensation Board
Outstanding communication skills
Organizational skills
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Draft and submit legal documents
Paralegal: 2 years (Required)
Spanish (Required)

Responsibilities

Translate for Spanish speaking clients
Conduct new client interviews to analyze and asses' potential new cases as well as gather information and relevant documentation to file a workers' compensation claim such as medical records, bills and loss income wages
Make initial medical appointments, assist clients with making and attending follow up appointments complying with Workers Compensation policies
Review, analyze, and submit proper medical records within the allowed time frame for continued benefits
Liaise between the claimant, insurance carrier and WCB
Maintain contact with clients on a regular basis
Communicate and maintain a strong healthy work relationship with adjusters
File RFA's to address claimants case concerns
Prep clients for upcoming hearings
Assist clients in Labor Market Attachment ( i.e
applying for jobs within their medical restrictions)
Calendar and adhere to all deadlines
Summarize cases and prepare reports for handling attorney
Manage and organize case documents and all correspondence
